Dale & Leslie Simpson began round dancing in September of 1993, taking lessons from the Tanglefooters Round Dance Club in Joplin, MO, a phase II to V club that began in 1975. After about 17 years of dancing, Dale decided to begin choreographing dances. This site records the results of our work.

Dale & Leslie Simpson in Cool Sunglasses

Believing that we should choreograph dances to music that we like, we have written dances that dancers familiar with the popular music of the 1960's, 1970's, 1980's, and even into this century would want to dance to. As of December 2016 we have written 48 of those dances.
Following are the dances that we have choreographed, all available at the links below, at Roger Ward's Cue Sheet site and at Cue Sheets from All Over [see below]. The first group is  organized in alphabetical order, with rhythm & phase level, with plus figures. Additionally, there is a link to a YouTube recording of the music, for you to test the music for possible use. The second group is of additional dances published since we first posted the first group. [NOTE: all YouTube music is provided just for testing of the music with the dance. Anyone who wants to use the dance will need to download the version that is listed on the cue sheet.]

YOU CAN PREVIEW THE MUSIC VIA THE YOUTUBE LINKS ON THIS SITE BEFORE DECIDING TO GO FURTHER.

All of these dances have been linked on Cue Sheets from All Over (Mixed-up.com) to Roger Ward's site. However, you have to do a search for them at CSFAO , which is located at http://www.mixed-up.com/round/all-over/. Once there, you will need to do a search through the Search box. Search for "simpson," and they will come up in one list like the one above. If you would like to check out the inventory on Cue Sheets from All Over, here's the link: http://www.mixed-up.com/round/all-over/search2.html?q=simpson

These dances are also posted on Annette Woodruff's massive round dance site. Both the cue sheets and the music for the dances are available through her site. She has been a great help to me in finalizing these cue sheets.

Let me know if you find any of these dances & music to be good or simply fun, or if you have discovered anything that may need to be revised or corrected. Nobody's perfect, and I am certainly not!
